Lockdown extended for another week in Delhi, CM Kejriwal announces

The lockdown has been extended for one more week in view of the rising number of cases of corona virus in Delhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Saturday.

The positivity rate in Delhi is still over 30%, which is worrying, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, adding that during the lockdown, it was seen that the positivity rate reached around 36-37%. The transition rate has come down a bit in a day or two.

Earlier, a lockdown was imposed in Delhi from 10 pm on Monday, April 19, which was carried out next April. During this, various restrictions were imposed, but relief was also given as per the need of the people.
