Israel fires 1,000 rockets overnight: 11 Hamas commanders killed

Tel Aviv, Ta. 13
Tensions have risen between Israel and Hamas. Twenty years later, thousands of rocket attacks followed. Hamas fired rockets at the militant group one after another. In response, Israel claimed to have fired 1,000 rockets in a single night. The death toll rose to eight, an official statement said.
Israel retaliated by firing more than 1,000 rockets at Hamas. It claimed 11 Hamas commanders had been killed. At least six people have been killed so far in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, a Gaza health official has said. More than 50 have been injured. He was accused of killing seven people in Israel. There were no reports of deaths in Israel.
All flights to the Israeli capital had to be canceled or diverted due to repeated airstrikes. Heavy attacks in the Gaza Strip sent the entire region into a frenzy.
The UN Security Council called for an end to the attacks. Jerusalem is the holy shrine of Muslims and Christianity in addition to the Jews. At the same time, Christian countries also appealed to reduce tensions. "We will respond aggressively to every attack to protect our citizens," the Israeli defense minister said in no uncertain terms.
Amid the tensions, the Egyptian delegation arrived in the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv. The members of this delegation have begun efforts to establish peace on both sides. Egyptian peace envoys also held talks with Hamas leaders before arriving in the Israeli capital.
It may be mentioned that in the last few years, the biggest conflict between the two sides was in 2016. The war lasted for 40 days. Before that, in the year 2000, a rocket hit me head-on. Ever since Israel was born as a new country, there has been a conflict between Islamic countries and Israel. The ceasefire came after peace talks with Egypt in the 1980s and 1990s. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person.
