A case has been registered against former Tamil Nadu minister and AIADMK leader Manikanandan under various sections of the IPC, including misdemeanors. The case against him has been registered at a women's police station in Chennai based on a complaint lodged by a Tamil actress. The actress had accused the former minister of sexual harassment.

According to the allegations made by the Tamil actress, Manikananda was sexually exploited by luring her into marriage. Not only that, when she became pregnant, the former minister had her abortion against her will. The actress has alleged that Manikanandan had been sexually abusing her for the last 5 years by luring her into marriage.

According to the actress, Manikanand forced her to have an abortion when she became pregnant. In her relationship with Manikanandan, she became pregnant 3 times and each time Manikanandan had an abortion against her will. The actress alleged that Manikanandan was talking about having a child after marriage.

The actress wrote in the complaint that Manikanandan was pressuring her to leave the country and threatening to share catastrophic pictures on social media if she did not believe him. Manikanand is also accused of threatening the actress' family.

A case has been registered against Manikanandan under various sections of the IPC, including rape, based on the actress' complaint.
