Corona's case: Against 3.43 lakh new cases, 3994 patients died


- Average daily 4,000 deaths recorded in the last 7 days

There has been no reduction in the number of deaths due to corona in the country. Although the number of cases of daily transition has decreased, the death toll is still high. A total of 3,43,122 new cases were reported in the country on Thursday and 3,994 patients lost their lives. A day earlier, 3,62,720 infections had been reported on Wednesday, with more than 4,000 deaths.

However, the figures for the last 7 days show a decline in daily cases. 3.91 lakh cases were registered on Saturday while 3.43 lakh cases were registered on Thursday. But the daily death toll is still high. An average of 4,000 deaths have been reported daily in the last 7 days.

Corona cases are steadily declining in some states. In Karnataka, 35,297 cases were registered on Thursday as against 50,112 on May 5. Similarly, 10489 cases were reported in Delhi, 17775 in Uttar Pradesh, 9121 in Chhattisgarh, 8419 in Madhya Pradesh, 7752 in Bihar and 4693 in Telangana.

The highest number of cases in these states

On Thursday, 30,621 cases were reported in Tamil Nadu and 20,839 in Bengal, the highest ever recorded there. Similarly, 39955 cases were registered in Kerala, 22399 in Andhra Pradesh, 15867 in Rajasthan and 8494 in Punjab.
