Asaram slapped, High Court rejects interim bail application

Asaram, who is serving his sentence in Jodhpur jail, has been given a major slap in the face by the Rajasthan High Court. The High Court has rejected Asaram's interim bail application.

Asaram's chances of getting out of jail have also been hit hard. Asaram is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS Hospital due to corona infection. Asaram had sought a two-month interim bail, citing medical reasons. However, the court rejected his application.

The court had dismissed the plea citing the Ahmedabad case. Asaram has had other ailments for a long time. "I want to be treated with Ayurvedic method and for this I need two months bail," Asaram said. The court also directed AIIMS Hospital to submit Asaram's medical report at the hearing of the case.

Asaram is currently undergoing treatment at the AIIMS Hospital. Even after recovering from it, he will now have to stay in jail following the High Court verdict.
