Adar Poonawala to make public names of threatening leaders, Congress to provide security: Nana Patole

Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole has reacted to a statement by Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawala that he was allegedly threatened by some leaders. According to Patole, Poonawala should make public the names of the leaders who have threatened him.

"Adar Poonawala says some leaders have threatened him," Nana Patole said. Congress takes full responsibility for his security, but he should make it public who the leader is. '

Went to Britain after receiving threats

Poonawala was threatened by some of the country's leaders and powerful people. The family then moved to Britain for a few days. Poonawala himself informed him that some powerful people in the country were threatening him for the vaccine.

Center provided Y series protection

It may be mentioned that after receiving threats from Poonawala, the central government had provided him with Y category security. Government of India officials said security had been provided in view of the potential threat to Poonawala.
