This time the Bengal election seems to be between the TMC and the BJP. Both parties have worked hard so far in the election campaign. Then now Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan is also going to come out in support of TMC. A few days back, Mamata Banerjee had written a letter to all opposition forces, including the Congress, to unite against the BJP.

The letter had an impact and Jaya Bachchan reached Kolkata late on Sunday evening and on Monday he will rally from Tollygunge for TMC candidate Arup Biswas. Biswas is contesting against BJP candidate Babul Supriyo. After Nandigram, the seat is considered a hot seat as the TMC candidate has been a three-time MLA from here and Union Minister Babul Supriyo is also contesting from this seat on a BJP ticket.

Babul Supriyo can give a tough fight to the TMC candidate because, on the one hand, he is a famous singer from Bengal and on the other hand, he has a good grip on the cinema there. Taliganj is also a stronghold of Bangla cinema. Jaya Bachchan may be from Jabalpur but he is originally from Bengal and this is why Amitabh is also called the son-in-law of Bengal.
