Voting begins for 43 seats in Bengal's sixth phase, Mukul Roy-Arjun Singh cast their votes

The sixth phase of polling for 43 seats in West Bengal began on Thursday morning. In this phase, 306 candidates, including veteran BJP leader Mukul Roy, are being examined. At the same time, strict security arrangements have been made and 1071 companies of the Central Security Forces have been deployed.

At this stage of the election, all eyes are on the Matua community, which has the power to ruin the maths of 17 North 24 Parganas and 9 Nadia constituencies. Early in the morning, BJP national vice-president Mukul Roy cast his vote at booth number 141 at Kancharapada in North 24 Parganas district.

West Bengal BJP vice-president and MP Arjun Singh also cast his vote at booth number 144 at Jagat Dal in North 24 Parganas. Bhatpara's BJP candidate Pawan Singh was also present with him.
