Today is the festival of Vaishakhi. A large number of devotees have flocked to Haridwar today to take a dip in the Ganges on the occasion of Aries Sankranti. People have been taking advantage of the Ganga bath since morning and after the common people take a bath, all the saints of the akhada will take a royal bath. On the one hand, the country is facing a tremendous wave of corona, while a gathering of believers has gathered at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar.

Corona cases are also on the rise in Haridwar. In Haridwar, 594 new cases of corona were reported. Due to this, there is a constant concern about the crowd of devotees. It is understood that Corona's protocols are being ignored by looking at the pictures that are coming up in front of the guidelines to follow various guidelines.

Kumbh Mela IG Sanjay Gunjal said that Vaishakhi bath is the most important of the four royal baths and 11 baths of Kumbh. According to satellite imagery, 16 million people bathed in Vaishakhi in 2010. But this time around 6 lakh people have taken a bath.

No masks, no social distance

The rule of masks and social distance is being violated during the royal bath. The administration has also been forced to comply with the Corona Protocol. However, according to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, with the blessings of Maa Ganga, Korona will not spread there.

The comparison of Aquarius with Markaz is inappropriate

Tirath Singh Rawat said that Kumbh cannot be compared to Marakaj. The center was in a closed room so the corona spread. Since the Aquarius is open, the corona does not spread. Maa Ganga is an uninterrupted stream, if we take the blessings of Maa Ganga, the corona will not spread.
