The situation in Maharashtra is not right, there is no option now except lockdown: Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai, Ta. 10 April 2021, Saturday

Once again, the spread of the tax virus is on the rise in Maharashtra. To overcome the problem, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray convened a meeting of all-party leaders in Maharashtra on Saturday evening. The meeting, which was held through video conferencing, was attended by people including BJP leader and former chief minister Devendra Fadnavi.

During the meeting, Uddhav Thackeray said that the situation in Maharashtra was not right. The state again sees no other option but lockdown. The situation will get worse between April 15 and 20. Uddhav Thackeray said that the time for imposing lockdown is near. The corona chain needs to be broken. Even after being vaccinated, people are getting corona. This time the youth are getting more impressed.

Thackeray said a lockdown was not necessary, but that other countries had made similar decisions to break the Corona chain. So now lockdown is the only option. Loadowns are needed to stem the rising number of corona cases.

In this regard, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has opposed the imposition of lockdown in Maharashtra. He said the condition of the people was dire last year. So far people have not even been able to pay their electricity bills. How can people live. Users may be ruined. The government should take into account the sentiments of the people.
