The board will give Rs 7 crore to Virat Kohli alone, while all the Pakistani players get Rs 7.4 crore

Indian captain Virat Kohli is setting records on the field as well as in terms of making money.

The board has once again announced the list of one-year annual contracts of Indian cricketers. The board has placed Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jaspreet Bumrah in the A-plus category. Players in this category get a salary of Rs 7 crore a year.

While the players who are placed in A plus grade get Rs 5 crore a year. The Indian Cricket Board is the richest cricket board in the world and its players are also benefiting.

Compared to other cricket boards, Virat Kohli alone has the same salary as all the other players in Pakistan. Virat Kohli will get Rs 7 crore a year while the salary budget of the Pakistan board players is Rs 7.4 crore if viewed in Indian rupees.

Pakistan pays Rs 11 lakh a year to A grade players, Rs 7.50 lakh to B grade players and Rs 5.50 lakh to C grade players.

Grade A: Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma, Pant and Hardik Pandya.

Grade B: Riddhiman Saha, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shardul Thakur and Mayank Agarwal.

Grade C: Kuldeep Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar, Shubman Gill, Hanuma Vihari, Akshar Patel, Shreyas Aiyar, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammad Siraj.
