CRPF Cobra Commando Rakeshwar Singh has been released by the Naxals. He was taken hostage by the Naxals in a clash in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh on April 3. According to information received, the Naxals released Rakeshwar Singh at 4 pm. However, it is not yet known whether the government has met any of the Naxal demands.

His family has expressed happiness over the release of Rakeshwar Singh. The Naxals have released the jawan in the presence of a two-member team formed by the government and hundreds of other villagers. A total of 11 people went to pick up the CRPF jawans, according to the Naxals. They were singing in the rugged terrain of Bastar which also had 7 journalists.

On Saturday, Naxals ambushed and attacked a CRPF jawan. In which 23 were martyred. Except this. More than two dozen passengers were seriously injured. Meanwhile, the Naxals took Rakesh Singh hostage.
