Shashi Tharoor made a big mistake on Twitter, paying tribute to hospitalized Sumitra Mahajan

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor tweeted the death of former Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. News of Sumitra Tai's death then went viral on social media. Later, BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargi tweeted that Sumitra Mahajan was healthy. Kailash Vijayvargiya wrote that Tai is very healthy, may God grant him long life.

After Kailash Vijayvargiya's tweet, Shashi Tharoor replied to his tweet and said that he had deleted his tweet. In his tweet, Shashi Tharoor expressed grief over the death of Sumitra Mahajan and recalled the incident when Sumitra Mahajan and the late Sushma Swaraj asked him to lead the Indian parliamentary delegation to the BRICS.

Shashi Tharoor deleted the tweet realizing his mistake but his screenshots are going viral on social media. Congress leader Alka Lamba also shared the news of Sumitra Mahajan's death but later deleted the post.
