Recommendation to implement lockdown in 150 districts of the country to prevent corona

The central government has been recommended to impose lockdowns in 150 districts of the country in the wake of millions of people being infected with corona every day.

According to a report submitted to the government, a lockdown has been recommended in districts where the transition rate is 15 per cent. For this, a health ministry has also prepared a proposal. It is recommended that a lockdown be imposed.

The proposal states that lockdowns are required in 150 districts. However, the final decision in this regard will be taken by the central government only after discussions with the state governments.

The proposal says that lockdowns are needed where the positivity rate is more than 15 per cent. Otherwise, the medical system will be severely burdened. The government has also claimed that oxygen production is being increased.
