Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recently visited Pakistan. The Pakistani media later quoted a Pakistani diplomat as saying that Russian President Putin had shown readiness to help Pakistan on all fronts, including defense. This message was conveyed to Pakistan by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov himself.
Meanwhile, sources close to the Russian diplomat say that Pakistan has a long tradition of exaggerating its relations with Russia. Russia is not going to sell arms to Pakistan. All the reports that have come out about this are completely fake.
Earlier, the Pakistani media had given high importance to the Russian foreign minister's visit to Pakistan, saying that Putin had promised to provide Pakistan with whatever it needed.
