An employee working in a factory in China took a very shocking step out of frustration. The man lost about Rs 6 lakh in the stock market. He then became extremely stressed and eventually committed suicide by jumping into a hot steel furnace. It was found that the temperature of the furnace at that time was about 900 degrees Celsius.
The man, identified as Wang, had been with the Boogang Group, a well-known Chinese steelmaker, for more than a decade. The company issued a statement on March 31 about Wang and said the 34-year-old Wang had suddenly disappeared after night duty at the company's steel pipe branch.
The company then began searching for Wang and obtained information about him based on CCTV footage. According to CCTV footage, Wang first saw the furnace at a time when steel was being smelted at one of the company's furnaces. The latter waited for a while, taking off his helmet and gloves, and finally jumped into the furnace and gave up his life.
According to people who worked with Wang, he was a shy person and single. He has been investing in the stock market for the last few years. The Chinese market reached its lowest level in the last 3 months. This caused Wang to lose Rs 6 lakh in the stock market.
According to a statement issued by the company, Wang is believed to have lost a lot of money and was having difficulty repaying his loan. This is why he took such a dangerous path of suicide and the police have declared the case as a case of suicide after a preliminary investigation.
