Mithun Chakraborty, who campaigned hard for the BJP in Bengal, is also infected with corona

Veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty, who campaigned extensively in the Bengal elections, has also contracted corona. He is currently in isolation.

Mithun joined the BJP just before the elections and since then he has left no stone unturned in campaigning for BJP candidates. However, the corona transition is now on the rise in the wake of millions of people flocking to election rallies in Bengal, as campaign leaders and candidates are also flocking to the corona. One Congress and one TMC candidate have also died due to corona.

In Bengal, 59 people have died in the last 24 hours and the number of transitions has reached 16,000. Before Mithun, BJP leader and Union Minister Babul Supriyo has also tested positive. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has banned victory rallies following the results to be declared on May 2.
