Leave Modiji's stubbornness and cancel CBSE board exams, Priyanka Gandhi's appeal

New Delhi, dated 14 April 2021, Wednesday

The CBSE board exams are set to begin on May 4 amid the country's corona virus outbreak. Millions of students across the country who sat for the exam are in tension and there is a growing demand for postponing the exam.

Now, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi has also echoed the demand, saying the exams should be canceled. Addressing PM Modi, he tweeted that he had spoken to a number of CBSE students in the last few days. Corona's discussion is incomplete without a discussion of students' health and safety. PM Modiji and the Education Minister listen to the minds of the students, give up their stubbornness and cancel the exams.

He also shared a photo of the students. It may be mentioned that in view of the rising demand for postponing the board examinations of Std 10 and Std 12, PM Modi is also scheduled to hold a meeting in this regard today.

Priyanka Gandhi has said that the government and the CBSE board will be responsible if students are forced to go to schools and take exams amid a growing transition and if a large number of students become infected.
