Leaders of your own party are not participating in vaccination: Dr. Harshvardhan's reply to Manmohan Singh's letter

Former PM Manmohan Singh had written a letter to PM Narendra Modi yesterday with some suggestions in view of the rapidly growing Corona transition in the country.

Now the Health Minister has replied to Dr. Harshvardhan. He has responded that in such a time, it would be better if the Congress leaders themselves cooperate with the government keeping in view the suggestions of Dr. Manmohan Singh. It seems that the people who have prepared the letter for you (Dr. Manmohan Singh) have not made you aware of the whole fact.

Dr. Harshvardhan said that the request you made on April 18 to allow the import of corona vaccine has been approved only on April 11. The government has provided financial assistance to as many vaccine companies as possible to increase corona vaccine production, but your own party leaders are not participating in the corona vaccination program. Not a single Congress leader has praised Indian scientists for the vaccine.

It may be mentioned that Dr. Manmohan Singh suggested that the government should disclose the dose figures provided to each state and pay attention to the percentage of the population vaccinated. The government should allow the state government to determine the category of front line workers for vaccination.
