Snowmen of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) are returning after 7 days of training. 101 snowmen were taken to Vasudhara, 8 km from Badrinath, to cope with the blizzard and for a mountaineering course. The snowmen sweated for 7 days amid temperatures below zero and heavy snowfall. The 21-day training had to be completed in just 7 days due to heavy snowfall.
Heavy snowfall continues at Vasudhara in Badrinath even in the month of April. ITBP snowmen were training to fight Himalayan challenges amid heavy snow. These were sweating at temperatures below zero. But due to heavy snowfall their camp was buried under the snow. They have been facing blizzards for the last 7 days. They maintained steely courage even in the midst of dire geographical conditions and zero to zero mercury.
However, due to heavy snowfall, ATBP personnel have had to abandon their training and return to Vasudhara. The study was initiated by ITBP in a high altitude area in the high Himalayan region as usual. The training was of 21 days but due to heavy snowfall and storms it has been completed in 7 days.
