It is spreading from outsiders. Ban the entry of people from Corona, Gujarat-UP: Mamata Banerjee

New delhi date. 16 April 2021, Friday

Addressing a rally for the West Bengal elections today, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said the influx of outsiders into the state was increasing. The Election Commission should ban people coming from UP and Gujarat.

In a controversial statement, Mamata Banerjee said that the Election Commission should ban outsiders from coming to Bengal. Earlier, cases of corona were less in Bengal. Now the situation is getting worse again. Outsiders are coming here and spreading corona. Especially the people of Gujarat should be banned. PM Modi may come here but by doing Korona test, what is the need to bring people from UP and Gujarat here when locals are getting involved in rallies?

"If you vote for the BJP, the NRC will be implemented in Bengal as well as in Assam and the people of Bengal will have to go to detention camps," he said. This election is to save Bengal. This is the battle of our pride. Outsiders want to rule Bengal. Against which we are fighting. You don't waste your vote. I will never allow the application of citizenship law in Bengal.

"The central government has not allowed us to give corana vaccine to the people of Bengal for free," he alleged. The central government is not interested in anything but politics.
