IFFCO, a co-operative society that produces and sells fertilizers, has taken a beautiful initiative in the face of the Koro crisis, despite the country's oxygen shortage. IFFCO is setting up an oxygen plant with a production capacity of 200 cubic meters per hour in its factory at Klok, Gujarat.

IFFCO will provide these oxygen to hospitals for free. One oxygen cylinder produced in this factory will have 46.7 liters of oxygen. Regardless of the demand, the plant will supply medical grade oxygen in 700 large D-type and 300 medium B-type cylinders per day. This oxygen hospital will be provided free of cost and not only that, IFFCO will also set up 3 more such plants to help the country in the epidemic.

For this, hospitals will have to send empty cylinders. If a hospital does not send its own cylinder, it will have to deposit a security amount for this. This arrangement has been made so that the hospitals do not overfill the cylinders. IFFCO MD and CEO Dr. US Awasthi has informed about this by tweeting himself.
