Gang selling antibiotics in empty bottles of Remedesivir busted

There is a shortage of remedivir injections for the treatment of corona across the country and money laundering elements have become active in such times taking advantage of people's compulsion.

In Mysore, Karnataka, a gang has been busted for selling antibiotics in empty bottles of remedivir. An employee of a private hospital has been arrested in the case. According to police, 41 fake remedies and Rs 2.85 lakh in cash were recovered from the accused named Girish. He used to get empty bottles of remedivir through his contacts and fill them with antibiotics. He was selling this fake drug through others with him.

Police are also searching for others involved in the scam. A black market is taking place in the country of Ramdasivir and even before this, the police had arrested a doctor selling fake Ramdasivir in Madhya Pradesh.
