Auto and taxi trains have also started plying to Uttar Pradesh amid fears of a lockdown amid a growing outbreak of Koro transition in Maharashtra. Last year, during the Corona period, the railway service was closed for 3 months so they had to go to the village by their own auto or taxi. This time the train has a lot of confirmed tickets.

This time too, people have been forced to go to the village in their black-and-yellow vehicles as they are having difficulty in getting confirmed tickets on the train. People returning home say they have no confidence in the government and do not want to get into trouble.

Several auto-taxi drivers from the shooting area at Mumbai's Santa Cruz have taken to the village road. According to Congress leader Avinash Kamble, there are no taxi drivers left in Worli Naka. Those who have not yet been able to go to the village are also preparing to go to the village.

Most auto-taxi drivers were waiting for the lockdown to take effect. As soon as the lockdown was announced, they left for the village. According to him, there is no hope from the state government so it is better to reach home safely. There are about 45,000 taxis in Mumbai but currently only 15,000 taxis are running on the roads of Mumbai. Eighty per cent of taxi drivers in Mumbai and Thane have left by train or are taking their black-and-yellow taxis with their families.
