Fear of lockdown: After Mumbai, migration of laborers from Delhi has now started

In Delhi, as in Maharashtra, after the announcement of a weekend lockdown, people are now fearing a complete lockdown in the capital, with workers from other states being the hardest hit.

Like Maharashtra, now even from Delhi, the provincial workers have started filling up. Crowds of laborers have been appearing on the expressway connecting Delhi and Noida for the past few days. They seem to be eager to go to their villages with the necessities.

While waiting for the buses, these people are seen standing for hours. These people include workers from states like Bihar and West Bengal. They are afraid that if the lockdown is implemented, they will not only get a job but will also have difficulty going home. Because they had to walk hundreds of kilometers during the lockdown last year.

So now they want to leave Delhi and go home and they are using the vehicle they have got for this.
