Farmers besieged FCI offices across the country

The farmers staged a protest in front of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) offices and cordoned off the FCI offices across the country. Farmers staged demonstrations and chanted slogans announcing FCI Rescue Day.
As decided in the Mahapanchayat meeting, the farmers organized and staged demonstrations in front of all the FCI offices in the states. Farmers shouted slogans on issues including support prices.
A large number of farmers thronged the FCI office in Noida. Apart from that, FCI offices in Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh were also cordoned off. A large number of farmers were displaced in these states.
