Corona virus spreads: Weekend lockdown in Delhi, new bans imposed

The state chief minister has announced a weekend lockdown as the country's capital, Delhi, is gripped by the Corona virus. The lockdown will begin at 10pm on Friday and will continue until 6am on Saturday.

Kejriwal announced the new sanctions at a press conference on Thursday afternoon. The decision comes at a time when more than 17,000 new cases were registered in Delhi on Wednesday, a record-breaking case so far.

A night curfew has been imposed in Delhi a few days back, as well as cases where the focus is on the containment zone. However, despite the imposition of sanctions, Corona's cases have not diminished.

New Corona virus figures in Delhi are alarming. A situation has arisen in Delhi today where a corona has exploded. In the last 24 hours, 17,282 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Delhi. So today 104 people have died because of the corona. Corona virus cases are on the rise in the capital Delhi. In the last four days, more than 45,000 cases have been registered in the capital.

The manner in which the Corona has taken over the capital Delhi can be gauged from the fact that more corona cases were filed in Delhi on Tuesday than in Mumbai. So far, a total of 7,67,438 cases have been reported in Delhi, out of which 7,05,162 have recovered. While 11,450 people have died due to corona.
