Containers to be procured from abroad, ready to enlist the help of Air Force to alleviate oxygen shortage

Oxygen shortages are rampant in the country amid the Corona crisis. In the midst of all this the Air Force will now be deployed to bring in oxygen containers from abroad. It is learned that the central government may enlist the help of the Air Force to import oxygen containers from other countries. The government is looking at the option of using the Indian Air Force to import containers from abroad. In these circumstances the Air Force could be used to bring containers to supply oxygen to the country.

Oxygen is known to be available but transportation is a major problem due to the shortage of containers used to carry it. In these circumstances the containers will be brought in from abroad with the help of the Air Force. The Indian Air Force has helped in the supply of oxygen containers, cylinders, medicine, health equipment, etc. from different parts of the country during the Corona crisis.

DRDO's oxygen containers have also been airlifted from Bengaluru to the Kovid centers in Delhi. DRDO is also collaborating in the construction of hospitals etc. There is a huge demand for oxygen in Delhi and many hospitals are facing oxygen shortage. Currently, the Center has increased the oxygen quota for Delhi.
