Attempted rape of Corona positive woman on oxygen support in hospital, accused arrested

A very shocking incident has come up from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. A ward boy at the hospital has been charged with attempted rape with a Corona-positive woman on oxygen support. Police have arrested Ward Boy after the incident came to light.

A woman was admitted to the Kovid ward of a private hospital in Gwalior. The woman was placed on oxygen support as her oxygen level dropped drastically due to the corona. According to the FIR lodged by the victim's son, a ward boy named Vivek Lodhi went to his mother's ward on Saturday night and treated her rudely. No one was present in the room as the victim was infected with Corona and the ward boy wanted to take advantage of it.

The woman started shouting so the ward boy ran away and the woman called her son and informed him about the whole incident. As soon as this was reported, the victim's son rushed to the hospital along with other family members. A case under Section 376 has been registered against Ward Boy on the basis of his complaint and he has been arrested. The victim's family members have accused the hospital management of negligence which is being investigated and the accused is being questioned.
