Adding 1,000 crore positive per hour in Delhi, those coming from Aquarius will have to be quarantined

Every day in the capital Delhi new corona records are coming up. In the last 24 hours, 24,375 new cases of corona were reported in Delhi on Saturday. This means that more than 1,000 people are being infected every hour. This is the highest number ever recorded in a single day. Also in the last 24 hours 167 people lost their lives due to corona which is the highest death toll ever.

The fact that the positivity rate in Delhi has gone up to 24.56 per cent is also a matter of great concern. That means 25 people are being infected in every 100 tests. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had expressed fears that the situation in Delhi was deteriorating due to Corona. Arvind Kejriwal said, “The transition in Delhi is growing rapidly. More than 24,000 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. The number of cases has gone up from 19,500 to over 24,000 in a single day, so the situation is very serious and worrying.

Quarantine those coming from Aquarius

The Kejriwal government has made 14-day quarantine mandatory for those returning to Delhi from Haridwar Kumbh. As per the order of Delhi Disaster Management Authority, if you have been to Aquarius from 4th April till now or from 18th April to 30th April, then your complete information, name, address of Delhi, phone number, ID proof, date of departure from Delhi and date of return. Etc. The order has to be uploaded on the Delhi government's site within 24 hours of its announcement.
