20 patients die due to oxygen shortage at Jaipur Golden Hospital in Delhi

Corona cases are on the rise in the national capital, Delhi, and there is a severe shortage of oxygen for the treatment of hospitalized patients. At least 20 patients have died due to lack of oxygen at Delhi's Jaipur Golden Hospital. Batra and Sir Gangaram Hospitals are also in dire need of oxygen and only enough oxygen for a short period of time.

According to DK Baluja, MD, Jaipur Golden Hospital, 20 critically ill patients died due to lack of oxygen supply yesterday evening. An oxygen tanker has reached Batra Hospital. According to Batra Hospital MD Dr SCL Gupta, 500 kg of oxygen has been delivered to the hospital by truck which is enough for the next one hour after receiving the oxygen. The hospital is treating 260 patients.

The Jaipur Golden Hospital in Delhi, which lasts for about 45 minutes, has enough oxygen left and 215 patients are admitted. The hospital's MD Dr DK Baluja has demanded oxygen supply from the state government and other agencies.
