Jyotiraditya Scindia once again sided with the Congress in the Rajya Sabha. During Scindia's address, several Congress MPs protested against the price of petrol and diesel. In his reply, Scindia explained the mathematics of rising inflation very well. At the same time, Scindia said that she would not open her mouth to the Congress in the Waje case, saying that the price of a city is Rs 100 crore.

"The reality is that petrol and diesel prices have gone up," Scindia said. But the way in which inflation is distributed is also a reality. There is also a limit to putting dust in people's eyes. Excluding expenses, the state gets 40 per cent and the center 60 per cent on petrol-diesel prices. Out of 60 per cent, 42 per cent goes to the state. The state gets 64 per cent of that fund while 36 per cent remains with the Center.

Don't open my mouth

In response to a Congress MP's promise of Rs 15 lakh, Scindia said, "Rai ji, don't open my mouth." At the same time, he threatened to talk about Maharashtra if Rs 15 lakh was talked about. "There have been reports for the last 3-4 days that the home minister is taking Rs 100 crore," Scindia said. If I open my mouth, I will continue. You first give an account of Rs 100 crore. This is just about Mumbai city. What is the condition of the remaining cities. Mr. Speaker, this is what we are collecting from the poor. '

Scindia claimed that her government was working for the upliftment of the poor and that everyone was affected by the Koro crisis. At the same time, he quipped that the job of the Congress was only to protest and said that the party which could not understand the pain of the people of G-23 could understand the pain of the people of the country.
