Washing Machine-Cable Connection-Laptop: Rain of Futures on Voters in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Ta. 17. Wednesday, March 2021

Political parties in Tamil Nadu have always been in the spotlight for their promises to woo voters in elections.

The ruling party AIADMK, which is contesting the elections in alliance with the BJP, has opened a promissory note. The AIADMK has announced that one member of each family will be given a government job, besides a washing machine and a washing machine. We will also provide free cable connection to families.

While people are worried about the rising prices of cooking gas, AIADMK has also promised to provide free solar gas stoves to the people and 6 cylinders per year to every family.

Opposition party DMK has announced that if we come to power, we will reduce the price of gas cylinder by Rs 100. It has also promised to provide free tablets to students of government schools and colleges. Students from standard 9 to 11 will also be given free meals.

In order to woo women, both the parties have announced to extend the maternity leave from 6 months to one year. The DMK has gone a step further and said that along with the maternity leave, our government will also provide Rs 24,000. Rs. 25-25000 will also be given to one lakh devotees for pilgrimage. The number of promises made by DMK will go up to 500. A separate ministry will be formed to fulfill this.
