The name of Tirath Singh Rawat has been stamped as the CM of Uttarakhand

The next Chief Minister of Uttarakhand will be Tirath Singh Rawat, currently an MP from Pauri Garhwal. His name was stamped by all the MLAs in the BJP Legislature. He will also be sworn in as CM today. The name of the CM was discussed by some people but the name of Tirath Singh Rawat was stamped. Anil Baluni was also ahead in this race. All MPs were called to attend the meeting. All the five BJP MPs from Uttarakhand were present at the meeting.

Who is Tirath Singh Rawat?

Tirath Singh Rawat is said to have benefited from his sociable and unblemished image. He is an MP from Garhwal. Considered a low profile leader. He is in charge of Haryana and has been the former BJP president of Uttarakhand. Even when Trivendra Rawat became the Chief Minister, his name was involved in the CM race. The union has had a strong grip. He joined BJP from RSS and became the secretary of the organization. He later became the National Secretary. Tirath Singh Rawat was a member of the UP Legislative Assembly from 1997 to 2002.

There was resentment against Rawat

The MLAs had gathered in a campaign to oust Trivendra Singh Rawat. The MLA said that if he had to go to the polls under his presidency, there was no other way but defeat. The MLA said the activists had made it clear that they would not be part of the campaign if Rawat remained in power. Rawat has been accused of being dominated by the bureaucracy. The legislator can't find them.
