All schools and colleges in Punjab have been closed till March 31 in view of the rising cases of corona virus. With this, college examinations have also been postponed. As per the new guideline announced by the Punjab government, schools and colleges have been closed till March 31 in view of the rising number of corona cases in the state.

All educational institutions except medical and nursing colleges will be closed till March 31. Apart from this, orders have been given to operate the cinema hall with 50 per cent capacity. No more than 100 people can be present at a time inside a mall.

It is also forbidden to invite more than 10 guests to the house at a time. All social events have also been ordered to be suspended for two weeks. Night curfew has been imposed in 11 districts of Punjab. These include Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala, Mohali, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Honshiarpur, Kapurthala and Rapad. Where night curfew will be applicable from 11 pm to 5 am. Within all these districts, more than 100 tax cases are coming up every day.

At the same time, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has ordered the closure of cinemas, multiplexes, restaurants, malls etc. every Sunday. Industries and essential services are allowed but will also be monitored. At the same time, orders have been given to create micro contentment zones.
