Punjab: Pakistani drone found in Pathankot, BSF firing, search operation launched

Drones have been spotted near the Indo-Pak border in Pathankot, Punjab. The drone has been deployed from Pakistan at Dinda Post. The Pakistani drones have been fired upon in the same way as the Mustad jawans on the border. However, the drone returned to Pakistan after the firing. The BSF is conducting a search operation in the entire area.

Police on Saturday launched a search operation in the Bamiyan sector from the Indo-Pak border in the Pakistan border area. A team of BSF and SWAT commandos was also involved in the investigation. Under the leadership of Tarsem Singh, in-charge of Bamiyal outpost, a search operation was carried out from the Indo-Pak border to farms, Sussam area and river banks.

Outpost in-charge Tarsem Singh has appealed to the locals to keep an eye on every suspicious activity or person. Inform the police immediately if any suspicious activity is found. There SSP Pathankot Gulneet Singh Khurana said that Bamiyal sector is sensitive to Pakistan. The police and the BSF remain vigilant at all times to keep the security apparatus strong.
