PM Modi's only law, friends should benefit: Rahul Gandhi

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has once again slammed the central government over rising petrol, diesel and cooking gas prices.

On Sunday, he said on Twitter that the central government was carrying out looting with both hands. On the one hand, the government was levying heavy taxes on gas, diesel and petrol and on the other hand, by selling government companies to its friends, depriving the public of employment and facilities.

He said that PM Modi has only one law and that is to blow up the country and benefit his friends.

Earlier, the Congress had claimed that since the Modi government came to power in 2014, the government has collected more than Rs 21 lakh crore by imposing taxes on petroleum products.
