Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote a letter to PM Modi, raising the issue of Kashmir

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently wrote a letter to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on the occasion of Pakistan Day, in response to which Imran Khan is now relying on PM Modi to resolve issues including peace and stability in South Asia, including Jammu and Kashmir.

Imran Khan thanked Modi in his letter, the people of Pakistan commemorate this day by paying homage to the wisdom and foresight of our founding father in envisioning an independent, sovereign nation, where one can live in freedom and realize his full potential, including the people of Pakistan Wanting peaceful, cooperative relations with all neighboring countries, we are confident that peace and stability in South Asia depend on resolving issues between India and Pakistan, especially the dispute over Jammu and Kashmir.

He further said in the letter that it was imperative to create a conducive environment for a constructive and result-oriented discussion, adding that in a letter to Imran Khan on March 23, PM Modi had emphasized the inevitability of an environment free of intimacy and hostility.
