Pakistan: Lahore University expels young man and woman for confessing love on campus

A young woman proposed to her boyfriend on the campus of Lahore University in Pakistan. The video went viral in India outside Pakistan.

However, there has been an outcry in Pakistan over the confession of love. It can be seen in the video that the girl fell to her knees with a bouquet of flowers and proposed to her boyfriend and then the young man hugged her. Paddy was applauded.

However, both the students have been expelled by the university following the controversy. The Lahore University disciplinary committee has concluded that both the students had violated the rules. They were called before the committee but did not attend. He has since been expelled from the university.

However, there is a large section in Pakistan who have started asking questions to the university in protest of the decision.
