The Government of Pakistan offers admission and scholarships to students from Jammu and Kashmir in other educational institutions including MBBS, Engineering to further its anti-India agenda. Kashmiri students arriving in Pakistan to become doctors and engineers are encouraged to become jihadists and separatists by promoting jihadi and separatist mentality. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is probing terror funding in Jammu and Kashmir, has exposed the Pakistani conspiracy.

A nefarious alliance of terrorists, Hurriyat and Pakistan

According to the report of the investigating agency, there is a tripartite alliance between the militants, the Hurriyat Conference and the government of Pakistan which is trying to form an army of Kashmiri doctors and engineers leaning towards Pakistan.

Help for visas by leaders

Radical Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Gilani and liberal Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Maulvi Umar Farooq and many of his colleagues have been managing the example of Kashmiri students in Pakistan. Kashmiri students and others could easily get visas for Pakistan based on their recommendation.

Wire with terrorists

According to the investigation report, most of the students who have gone to Pakistan to study are either relatives of a former terrorist or have been associated with an active terrorist in some way. Apart from that, the Hurriyat leaders also receive large sums of money from the children of some influential families in Kashmir in exchange for enrolling them in medical and engineering colleges in Pakistan. The bulk of this money is spent on terrorist and separatist activities.

Disclosure of truth through document

A search of the home of separatist leader Naeem Khan turned up some documents. These documents were related to the recommendation to admit a Kashmiri student to study MBBS in Pakistan. It said for the student, he and his family are supporters of Pakistan and are committed to the independence of Kashmir.

The separatist shop closed

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took note of the whole case and asked the investigating agency to take action against the entire network. Since then, the number of students moving from Jammu and Kashmir to Ghulam Kashmir or Pakistan to study MBBS or engineering has declined.
