Sanctions are being stepped up in view of the resurgent corona virus case in the country. Spectators have been barred from entering the stadium during the final three matches of the T20 series between India and England due to a steady rise in cases of Coro's transition. Then senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh took this decision and once again targeted the Modi government. Digvijay Singh said thousands of spectators have been barred from entering the stadium but millions of devotees in Uttarakhand have been given full permission to visit Kumbh.

Digvijay Singh tweeted, "Thousands of spectators have been banned from coming to the stadium to watch T20 cricket matches due to the growing fury of Kovid-19 but millions of devotees have been allowed to visit Kumbh in Uttarakhand. Thank you."

Reason for making a decision

The spectators were seen without masks in the T20 match between India and England. There were also flags of social distance flying in the stadium. Due to this, the Gujarat Cricket Association has banned spectators from entering the stadium.

Ticket money will be refunded

The Gujarat Cricket Association will give a refund to the spectators who bought tickets for the 3 final T20 matches. A policy will be formulated to return the money to the viewers.
