Dhoom of Mahashivaratri from Kashi to Haridwar, 22 lakh people drowned in Kumbh

Today, the Mahashivaratri festival of 2021 is in full swing across the country. From Kashi to Haridwar and from Ujjain to Gorakhpur, devotees are immersed in the faith of Lord Shiva. Bum-bum bhole is being heard all over the country today. Devotees of Lord Shiva are taking advantage of the holy bath from Har Ki Pauri Ghat in Haridwar to Assi Ghat in Varanasi. Today is also the day of the first royal bath of Aquarius.

Drowning of 22 lakh devotees

At Har Ki Pauri Ghat in Haridwar, 22 lakh devotees have taken a dip in the morning. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ramnath Kovind, UP Chief Minister Yogi, Rahul Gandhi, etc. sent greetings on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri through Twitter.

Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Om Prakash had announced that strict action would be taken against anyone violating the SOP at the fair premises in view of the Koro epidemic. Devotees have to upload their RT-PCR report online before coming to the fair and that report should not be more than 72 hours old. Based on this report, devotees have been given e-passes to go to the fair premises.
