India is once again witnessing a worrying rise in cases of corona virus. More than 50,000 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. About 5 months later, the number of corona cases in the country has crossed 50,000, which is a matter of great concern.

A total of 53,364 new cases were reported in India on Wednesday while more than 250 people were killed, according to the agency. Earlier, on October 23, 2020, there were more than 50,000 cases in India, i.e. 54,350 cases.

Amid the growing prevalence of the corona virus, the number of active cases in India has once again reached 4 lakh. In addition, the number of deaths due to corona in the country has crossed the figure of 1 lakh 60 thousand.

The situation in Maharashtra is scary

The worst situation in the country is in Maharashtra, where more than 31,000 cases have been reported in the past day. Every day in Maharashtra, the number of corona cases is breaking its old record. This is why a complete lockdown has been implemented in many cities of the state. The number of active cases in Maharashtra has reached 2.5 lakh, which is more than half of the total cases in the country.

An atmosphere of fear even in Delhi

The country's capital, Delhi, also seems to be in the grip of Corona again. Although the situation in Delhi is not as scary as in Maharashtra, the trend that has been going on for some time now has broken down. Last day, more than 1,200 cases were reported in Delhi, the highest number this year. Due to this, the rules have been tightened in Delhi and adherence to Corona guidelines has been made mandatory in markets, malls and multiplexes.
