Corona in the country, 39726 new cases in the last 24 hours, 154 people lost their lives

Corona cases have risen sharply in the country. In the last 24 hours, 39726 new cases of corona have been reported in the country and 154 people have died. With this, the total number of patients in the country has reached 1 crore 1 lakh 14 thousand 311 out of which 1 crore 10 lakh 83 thousand 679 people have been cured.

In the last 24 hours, 20 thousand 654 people have recovered and the number of active cases in the country has now reached 2 lakh 71 thousand 282. So far 1 lakh 59 thousand 370 people have died. The speed of vaccination has also increased amid increasing cases of corona. So far 3 crore 93 lakh 39 thousand 817 vaccine doses have been given.

25,833 new cases in one day in Maharashtra

Maharashtra is going through the worst crisis due to the rising number of corona cases. In Maharashtra, 25,833 new cases of corona have been reported, the highest since September.

1,276 new cases in Gujarat

Corona virus has re-emerged in Gujarat. In the last 24 hours, 1,276 new cases have been registered in the state and a decision has been taken to impose night curfew in Ahmedabad and Surat. Besides, markets, malls etc. will also be closed from 9 pm to 6 am.
