Congress is the guarantee of violence-separatism-corruption-scam: PM Modi

PM Modi addressed an election rally today amid the ongoing election campaign for the Assam Assembly elections. He said that it was decided that a BJP government would be formed for the second time in Assam.

We have worked hard to fulfill the responsibility given to the BJP by the people here. Our government has built bridges over the Brahmaputra river and completed the unfinished bridges. The government has also paid attention to protecting the environment in Assam.

PM Modi said that the question in the Congress regime was whether there would be peace in the troubled Assam or not but the BJP government has given peace and stability here. Action is being taken to strengthen infrastructure in the state under Assam Darshan.

Assam is a huge power and yet the Congress has not used that power. Today, with the BJP government in the state and at the center, the state is developing rapidly but the Congress leaders mean empty power and the Congress wants power at any cost. The fact is, the Congress coffers are empty and it needs power to fill it.

He said that those who have ruled the state for fifty years have given five guarantees to Assam today but the people of Assam know their rug. The Congress has got into the habit of making false promises. And separatism happens. Congress is a guarantee of corruption and scams.

He said that the Congress was ready to compromise with any party for power. In one state they are giving space to the Left and in another state they are allying with the Left to contest elections. That is why the people of the country no longer trust the Congress.
