The entire family is in mourning over the robbery of a car by holding the wife and daughter of an engineer of Oppo Mobile Company hostage in Greater Noida on Sunday evening. Anu Dhanda, the engineer's 27-year-old wife, said he joined hands with the thugs and begged them to let him and his daughter go and then the thugs threw him down from the moving car.

Engineer Nishant Dhanda (29) went out to buy vegetables with his wife and baby. Misha got out of the Breza car near Gol Chakkar and started buying vegetables. The traffic was light at this time of night and Sunday. At that moment, two thugs suddenly came up and one of them grabbed the driver's seat while the other pushed Anu back and sat next to him. He then pulled out a gun and aimed it at Anuna and threatened to shoot them both.

Nishant, who was buying vegetables nearby, shouted but by then the miscreants had fled in a vehicle. Anu joined hands and begged them to leave so that about 200 meters away he and his daughter were pushed out of the oncoming car.

According to those present at the scene, a Centro car with half a dozen people in it came before the robbery. There were only 3-4 people sitting in it when Centro left after the incident. This led to suspicion that the robbers had come to the Centro and he took advantage of the opportunity to rob the vehicle.
