In the midst of a tumultuous election campaign in Bengal, political parties are hurling chills at each other. But amidst this political bitterness the sweet shops have made a sweet effort. Modi and Mamta sweets found in these shops are removing the bitterness.

Sudip Mallik now runs a sweet shop in Kolkata started by Balaram Mallik and Radharman Mallik in 1885. His confectionery company's special sweets are being discussed all over Bengal ahead of the Assembly elections. According to Sudeep, they design sweets from what is going on in social media. At present there is no bigger issue than elections in Bengal. Because of this he has created sweets with election symbols of political parties and the message (Bengali sweets) with the slogans of 'Khela Hobe', 'Jai Shri Ram' which became popular in this election which people are very much liking.

Modi-Mamata's dessert created an atmosphere

Sudip said he was currently making a dessert called Didi Sandesh and Modi Sandesh with pictures of ruling Trinamool Congress supremo and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and BJP's biggest campaigner and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was much discussed among the general public and party supporters.
