Anesthesia of the administration: In Bihar, a father kept wandering around with his son's body in a bag.

Patna, Ta. 7 March 2021, Sunday

The Katihar district administration of Bihar has come up with a shameful picture of insensitivity. On the one hand, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar claims good governance, on the other hand, a father has to carry the body of his 13-year-old child in a bag because of the administration. Due to the insensitivity of Gopalpur police station in Bhagalpur district and Kursela police station in Katihar district, the father kept wandering with the corpse on foot for three kilometers.

The boy's father, Neeru Yadav, a resident of Bhagalpur district, said his 13-year-old son fell from a boat while crossing the river inside Tintanga village under Gopalpur police station. No trace of him was found after that. He also lodged a complaint at the Gopalpur police station. When Neeru searched for his son, his body was found by the river in the area under Kursela police station in Katihar district.

The condition of the child's corpse was bad. The corpse was decomposed and was also damaged by animals. He was identified on the basis of the child's clothing and body parts. But neither the Gopalpur police station nor the Kursela police station made arrangements to take the body of the child. Police did not even need to call an ambulance for the body. Trapped between two poly stations, the father finally started walking home with his child's corpse in a bag. An inquiry has now been ordered into the incident.
