Neighboring Bangladesh is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its independence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in Dhaka as the chief guest. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will personally welcome Prime Minister Modi. While India has helped Bangladesh emerge as a new nation, India is now joining in the celebrations.

This is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's first foreign trip in Koro's time. During this two-day tour they will be participating in a number of events. It may be mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gone abroad for the first time during Korona's tenure. Earlier, the Prime Minister was scheduled to visit Bangladesh but the program was postponed due to Corona. Earlier in November 2019, he went to Brazil.
