35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower, know the features of the world's tallest railway bridge being built in Kashmir

The Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir is becoming the world's tallest railway arch bridge. The bridge is almost finished. Railway Minister and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted a video sharing some facts about the bridge.

According to a video shared by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, the length of this iconic railway arch bridge on the Chenab river is 1315 meters. There is an elevation of 359 meters from the river bottom. The pillar on one side of the bridge is 131 meters high.

One of the features of the bridge is that it is 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The base of the Arch Railway Bridge, which rests on a pillar, has a height of 131 meters on one side which is much higher than the Qutub Minar.

The Chenab Bridge will be equipped with an online monitoring and warning system. There will be a rope-way lift facility and sensors will be installed. Which will be notified immediately in case of any technical glitch.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal also tweeted a few days back that the world's tallest railway bridge being constructed in the Kauri area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir is being constructed by the Konkan Railway Corporation Limited.

The Chenab Bridge is being constructed as per the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link project. The Chenab Bridge will connect the valley with the rest of the states and cities of the country by rail.
